Welcome

Watersheds.us is a nonprofit 501(c)3 corporation providing scientific and technical services to organizations, public agencies, and private entities involved in the conservation of natural resources and cultural heritage. We specialize in the following areas: geolocation (GPS, GIS, and online mapping), environmental monitoring, resource assessment, wildlife, fisheries, birds, and environmental education.

Our staff and volunteers are passionate about the natural world. Toward that end, conservation groups are invited to contact us to explore opportunities for collaboration.

"A watershed is that area of land, a bounded hydrologic system, within which all living things are inextricably linked by their common water course and where, as humans settled, simple logic demanded that they become part of a community."
John Wesley Powell, second Director of the USGS
